Michael and I spent this past week in Cabo, and I can honestly say, I’ve never enjoyed something more in my life.

We stayed at one of the most beautiful resorts I’ve ever seen, Pueblo Bonita Rose.

We went with the all-inclusive plan, which we took full advantage of. We pretty much went with the Seinfeld state-of-mind.. and when asked if we wanted more of anything, we took more of everything! Needless to say, we were never without chips & guac, a spicy tuna roll, or a pina colda in our hands. Leave it to Michael to order the baby octopus for an appetizer one night. This poor thing is getting added to the “Michael eats disgusting things” list.

On our first full day in Cabo, we decided to go swimming with the dolphins. This is something I’ve always wanted to do, and completely regretted not doing the last time I was in Mexico. Being in the pool with these HUGE creatures was probably one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. We had the alpha-male, Nacho, so you could only imagine how enormous he was! They did all sorts of tricks for us, from waving with their fins and tail, to swimming like a shark, to doing different choreographed jumps. We did dolphin kisses on both our cheeks and lips, and the cutest thing of all, is each time he would kiss us, he’d close his eyes! Finally, at the end, we got to ride them! I was never really sure how we would actually ride the dolphin, but he ended up turning over on his back, and we grabbed a hold of each fin, and he swam us in laps around the pool. If you ever get the chance to do this, DON’T PASS IT UP!

Our Resort was pretty close to Lover’s beach, so we took a water taxi over there on our last full day. Lover’s Beach is where the Sea of Cortez meets the Pacific Ocean, and has these insane rock formations.
